Two Aymara women from Ovejuyo (a neighbourhood situated in La Paz’s Southern periphery) waiting for a minibus to begin their two-hour journey to the Max Paredes district (a neighbourhood situated northeast of the city centre) where they work as street market vendors. Like these women, most indigenous residents in La Paz reside and work in peripheral neighbourhoods but not in the more ‘white’ urban core. Photo by Philipp Horn.
