Urban Research Publications Ltd (URPL) is a company registered in Britain. URPL owns the title to IJURR (and thus enters into contractual arrangements with a publisher to publish the journal), receives payments from the publisher of IJURR, settles various IJURR-related expenses, and transfers remaining funds to the IJURR Foundation for charitable disbursement.

URPL is, legally, a wholly-owned subsidiary of, and (in practice) sole commercial trading arm for, the IJURR Foundation.
