3. Ask Referees to Send References

Ask your referees to send an academic reference letter each to:

The IJURR Foundation Studentship award scheme is paused for 2024. Applications will reopen in December 2024 for 2025 awards.

Deadline

Applications must be received by 31 January. Late applications will not be considered under any circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into. Applications cannot be individually acknowledged due to the volume received but successful applicants will be informed by the end of April.

Eligibility

Funding is only offered to those students who are working within the field of urban and regional studies. ONLY applicants whose nationality falls into the countries listed as low-income or middle-income in the World Bank classification will be eligible to apply. Middle-income includes both lower and higher middle-income categories. For full details, please see here. Preference will be given to students who completed their first degree (BA/BSc) in their home country or another low or middle-income country.
