2. Submit the Application Form

Submit your Application Form using the form below (* All fields must be filled in).
All supporting documents should be emailed to IJURR Foundation Applications, with your surname as the subject of the email.

3. Ask Referees to Send References

Ask your referees to send an academic reference letter each to [email protected], with your surname as the subject of the email. Applications will not be considered without 2 reference letters. These must be received by 31st January (Midnight GMT). Guidance for academic reference letters

Applications for IJURR Foundation writing up Grants 2024 are NOW CLOSED. Successful candidates will be contacted by the end of April 2024.

Deadline

Applications must be received by 31 January. Late applications will not be considered under any circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into. Applications cannot be individually acknowledged due to the volume received but successful applicants will be informed by the end of April.

Eligibility

Funding is only offered to those students who are working within the field of urban and regional studies. ONLY applicants whose nationality falls into the countries listed as low-income or middle-income in the World Bank classification will be eligible to apply. Middle income includes both lower and higher-middle income categories. For full details, please see here. Preference will be given to students who completed their first degree (BA/BSc) in their home country or another low or middle-income country.
